| Freeskier’s Biggest Party Descends On Boulder’s Fox Theatre.
Freeskier Magazine is closing the 2003/’04 ski season with a night of ‘80s metal mania at the Fox Theater when its Anarchy in April Festival storms Boulder on April 17th. The event is presented by the Boulder-based Freeskier and headlined by Hair Bangers Ball , a national touring band whose raucous ‘80’s era glam-metal tribute act has packed clubs across the country with its thumping renditions of classic hits from the likes of Poison, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Guns & Roses, AC/DC and many more. Freeskier’s Anarchy
in April will bring together a rowdy community of pro ski celebrities, ski fanatics,
music lovers and party animals. Freeskier will hold a costume contest for the
best big-hair ‘80s glam costume with the male and female winners each taking
home a pair of Salomon 1080 skis. An additional $5,000 in prizes will be awarded
to glammed-out revelers by Freeskier and the event’s sponsors: Salomon, Phenix,
Kombi, Bula, Red & Anon. Party-goers should sport their ‘80s best and
prepare to strut their stuff in front of the Freeskier photographers on hand to
