| Just what in the Hell is Outlaw Country anyway?
First of all I disagree with the general thought that the Urban Cowboy movement was the end of Outlaw Country, I believe that was simply an extension of the Outlaw Movement and of course the height of its popularity.
There are also many great Outlaw Country bands out there carrying on the torch that are very much unappreciated and with this website I hope to give them some exposure. I also desire that this website helps you, the visitor, rediscover Outlaw Country Music. Maybe songs you've forgot about, or maybe you'll find something you've never heard. Growing up in the seventies and eighties, I have a fevering passion for this forgotten music and hope to help keep it alive, if only the memories of us kindred spirits who love it so.
