Injury puts original Outlaw in rehab center I wanted to throw out some love to country singer/writer/ producer Tompall Glaser, 70, one of the original Outlaws, who was left partially paralyzed by a herniated disc in his neck. A quick primer: Tompall appeared on 1976's Wanted: The Outlaws with Waylon Jennings, his wife, Jessi Colter, and Willie Nelson. Tompall (Streets of Baltimore) also was the star of Tompall & the Glaser Brothers. He has three CMA awards and Grammy nominations. And a month or so ago, Tompall moved the wrong way and that left him with a herniated disc in his neck. He was without use of his arms and legs. Tompall had surgery and he has spent a month in rehab at Vanderbilt. When he is finished, Tompall is expected to recover about 75% use of his extremities, his family says. There
are many folks on Music Row thinking about Tompall and praying for him. If you'd
like to pass along good wishes, you can write Mr. Glaser at P.O. Box 120821, Nashville,
